What is your payment policy?
Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We accept check, money order or cash.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
The date you have booked is reserved specifically for you.  However, cancellations may be made up to 14 days in advance of your arrival. After that time you are responsible for the balance due.  

Can I make a reservation by phone?
Yes.  You can reach me at 208-776-5106 or 208-221-3827 to check availability and book a reservation by phone.   If you wish, we can lock in your reservation at that time with a credit card number.  

Are there any other charges involved when booking a reservation?
Idaho state and city taxes will be added to your total bill.   We require no security deposit; however, you are responsible for any damages and/or unusual cleaning requirements that occur as a result of your stay. 

GETTING TO LAVA
What airport should I fly into?
There are three airports convenient to Lava Hot Springs: Salt Lake City International Airport serving Utah and Idaho, Pocatello Regional Airport for local flights from Salt Lake City International and Lava Hot Springs Airport, a private airport with shuttle services.
Big Sky Airlines - Flights to and from the Pocatello Airport.
SkyWest Airlines - Flies between Pocatello & Salt Lake City International airport.
Avcenter Air Charters - Aircraft charter and rental service from Pocatello.

Lava is located in SE Idaho. Take exit 47 off Interstate 15 and travel east on Highway 30 for 11 miles. Lava is approximately 150 miles from Salt Lake City Intl. Airport and 40 miles from the Pocatello Regional Airport.

CHECKING IN AND OUT
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3:00pm.  Check-out is at 11:00am.  Please call us the day before your scheduled arrival to let us know when you will be arriving in Lava so that I can be on hand to welcome you.

Can I check in early or check out late?
We will try to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs whenever possible, but can’t guarantee them in advance.  Late checkouts are available at a rate of $15 per hour after 11:00 AM only if we are not booked on the day of your scheduled departure.  Please call a day or two prior to check-in to verify special requests related to checking in or out.
